The succession planning and sale of the company took place as part of a regulated transaction process to another large logistics service provider that was already working for a large automobile group. This horizontal integration was synergistically very efficient and enabled the buyer to enter a very large new customer base and thus take over the logistics services for two large automobile manufacturers in southern Germany.
